These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of HKSI Prep(the "Service"), an online study platform for the Licensing Examination for Securities and Futures Intermediaries set by the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute. The Service is operated by HKSI Prep (hksiprep.hk) ("we"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
HKSI Prep provides practice questions, worked explanations, timed mock exams, study notes and progress tracking aligned to the public syllabi of the examination papers it covers. The Service is provided for study purposes only.
HKSI Prep is an independent study service. It is not affiliated with, authorised by, endorsed by or connected to the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute (HKSI Institute) or the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) or any other examination or regulatory body. All practice questions are original study material written to match the public syllabus; they are not past or official examination questions. We do not guarantee that using the Service will result in passing any examination.

You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
Paid access is sold as a one-time pass in Hong Kong dollars, paid in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. Each pass grants access for a fixed window: 30 days (1-month pass), 90 days (3-month pass) or 365 days (Until-you-pass pass), starting when the pass is activated. If you fail an HKSI Licensing Examination paper while an Until-you-pass pass is active and send us your HKSI result within 30 days of the exam, we extend that pass free of charge, as set out in section 3 of our Refund Policy. An extension adds access time only; it is not a refund and we do not promise any exam result. A pass is a single charge: it does not renew automatically and we do not charge your payment method again. When the window ends, access simply expires.
There is no subscription and nothing to cancel. If you buy another pass, the additional time stacks on top of any remaining access. You can see your expiry date on your dashboard. Prices may change; any change applies only to future purchases.
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
You may use the Service for your own personal exam preparation. You may not copy, scrape, resell, redistribute or publicly share the question content, share your account, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service. You may not use bots, scripts or other automated means to access the Service or collect its content, or use the content to build another study product or to train an AI model. The questions, explanations and notes are our original work, protected by copyright, and remain our property. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks this section (see section 9).
The Service and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Study material may contain errors and is not legal, regulatory, financial or investment advice. Rules change: you are responsible for checking the current law, the SFC's codes and guidelines and HKSI Institute's examination requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for exam outcomes. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the three months before the claim.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. You may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time.
